G.I.F.T in The Streets of New York!

Hey G.O.G.'s!

The first week of March was spent in NYC for the United Nations Conference. For those who do not know, I am in my 2nd year of law school, I'm headed into the International Law arena and diplomatic relations. The CSW Conference at the United Nations marked the 2nd year in a row I've been able to work as an official  representative of a Non-Governmental Organization to the United Nations. "To keep one's hand on the pulse of the world, is to keep one's ear close to the mouth of God." -PM

NYC wasn't all work though. Oh, we played! And fashion-wise NYC is filled with individualism and style, so it provided great opps to snap some style pics! It was like being a kid on the playground!

While there, I was able to grab lunch with some of my bestest and fabulous friends. Naturally, I decided to snap a few style shots of them and they allowed it :-) No stylists, no wardrobe consultants, just natural fabulousness. Gotta love it :-)

Style Profile: Renee lives in CT, and works at the Yale School of Medicine Research Lab. She's part-time academic, and a full-time fabulous style maven! Check out her earthy and eclectic style below:

Here's some pics of us frolicking through the city:

I also got a chance to catch up with Lita, the girl full of faith and always-inspiring. She and I attended the same church back home in MA, and well... we've been close friends ever since our first bible study! LOL It's always awesome when God places great friends in your life! Did I also mention she's also an UBER-talented interior designer?!!

We Shopped it up...But, of course ;-)

And Ate....

And of course, We do what girlfriends do: We acted a' fool (as in silly, non-sensical, just plain nutty).... (*wink!)

My perfect harmony: Friends, Food and Style!

More New York style pics to come.....

Remember to enjoy life. WHY? Because its fun!

XoXo,

G.I.F.T.
