Re-Cap for the New Year

Hey G.O.G.'s!

So, before we dive into our assessments and creativity, let's give a brief re-cap of some key things to help us understand this site.

First: G.I.F.T. is not a gossip or celebrity blog. There will be pictures posted of some familiar faces, but there will always be a reason whether it be as a positive example, or...errr....a what not to do, lol.

Second: You will see the term G.O.G. quite often, this is short for Girls of God.  So, if you're a girl of God, then we're talking about you! ;-]

Third: G.I.F.T. will not just endeavor to discuss clothing, beauty and fashion trends (although these are a main component of the blog), we will discuss ALL things applicable to G.O.G.'s in our modern society including, but not limited to
-Music
-Church culture
-Film and the arts
-Jesus!
-Societal trends

Finally, comments from readers make this truly an interactive site. Keep in touch, and don't be a stranger on the comment sections. We wanna know how you feel and your feedback is always welcomed!

New Year, New Things. Can you say Transitions!

Hi All!

I'm so exicted to begin this year, and I'm greatly looking forward to all that is to come in the development of this forum. This blog has existed since 2009, but has been on a slight hiatus thanks to law school, re-location to Florida and other transitional things God has called my attention to. This year, however, I feel confident things are beginning to settle and the time has re-presented itself to continue with the mission of the blog, fun and fabulousity!

Change of name: For those of you who have noticed the site's name has changed from Fa-beauty to G.I.F.T., there is a great story behind it, and there will be more to come regarding that, which will also more fully explain the various updates it will experience this year ;-).

Thank you for your support in this mission, and my hope is that this can be a place of honesty, transparency and creative freedom  as we endeavor to more firmly define ourselves and get to understand our beauty through Christ Jesus.

And away we go... :-)
